Our crew will welcome you to the 7-day Victoria Falls, Chobe and Okavango Delta Safari at the Victoria Falls International Airport and transfer you to your overnight accommodation. The Tour Leader will brief you on the tour program. Victoria Falls is also known as Mosi-oa-Tunya which means "The Smoke That Thunders" in the local Tonga language, highlighting the powerful mist and noise created by the falls. The mist from the falls creates a microclimate, supporting a rainforest ecosystem on the surrounding cliffs. Later afternoon we depart for the Zambezi Sunset dinner cruise, returning after 8pm.
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered one of the largest and most famous waterfall systems in the world. The area around Victoria Falls is known for various adrenaline-pumping activities such as white-water rafting, bungee jumping and many more. After breakfast we visit Victoria Falls for a guided tour of the falls, then the afternoon is free for optional activities. In the evening, enjoy the Boma Dinner and drum beat.
Chobe National Park is renowned for its high population of migratory elephants. A sunset boat cruise is a not-to-miss activity here. The Chobe River provides a very broad habitat for birdlife and it is possible to see many beautiful species. Today we leave Victoria Falls in the morning after breakfast for Chobe National Park, Botswana, for a 3-hour afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River.
Experience abundant wildlife in Chobe National Park, home to Africa's largest concentration of elephants, buffaloes, impalas, legendary fish eagles, and abundant birdlife along the river. We will continue searching for wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives meandering along the banks of the Chobe River, giving us excellent chances to see game.
After breakfast we transfer to Kasane International Airport to take a flight straight to an Okavango Delta airstrip near our camp. Upon arrival, we check in to our rooms, then have lunch while waiting for our afternoon mokoro ride in the Okavango channels, meandering past water lilies and other plants. After the mokoro ride, return to camp for dinner.
Morning nature walk safaris with an armed guide, experiencing nature, learning about small to big flora and fauna, animal spoors, droppings, and plants. In the afternoon we do a boating cruise safari in the Okavango Delta.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Maun International Airport to take your flight home or to your next destination. This marks the end of your 7-day safari with us.
